Problem syncing data away from phone

I really wanted to get data from a 5k race today. I checked that my sensors were showing my data, then began a workout entitled "cardio training." I put down the phone (Google Pixel) and went to the line for the race. When I came back I saw that it had been recording for about 37 mins., ended and saved the workout. When I returned home I plugged in the device to the computer, stored and synced my data on my mac through the HxServices app. Finally, I went to the Hexoskin Web Dashboard to view. I saw nothing new under recent activities but definitely some data on the bar graph charts under Duration and Cardio for September 2 (my only activity that day i.e. today).

After reading about some issues from other users I plugged the device back into my shirt (that I was still wearing), created and saved a new workout also labeled cardio training. I was thinking this would somehow push this new activity along with the old one to the web portal from my phone.

There is now activitiy info. from my "fake" workout but nothing for the 5k race. Two sessions were synced locally for September 2nd on the Hexoskin Services app. The durations are 5:36:21 and 00:09:31 neither of which seem to correspond to the duration of the workouts on my phone.

In general, the problem only seems to arise when the the phone is out of range of the device. Running without the phone is definitely supported right? Is there any advice you can give me for future recordings? Even better, is there anyway you could somehow help me retrieve this 5k race if it was in fact recorded?

I have the same exact question... Haven't been able to receive any help either. Please let me know if you find this solution.
