We review quick steps to get you started with Astroskin, installing Hexoskin OneSync, creating your user account, and starting to use Astroskin.
Before starting to use your Astroskin system, make sure to create a user account* by going to the Astroskin Dashboard (astro.hexoskin.com)
*Please contact our Support Team for your account creation during our migration to our new platform
Downloading & Installing Hexoskin OneSync
Hexoskin OneSync allows to synchronize the data collected with the Hexoskin and Astroskin Smart Garments.
- If you have our previous sync solution Hexoskin HxServices installed on your PC or Mac, you need to uninstall it and then download and install Hexoskin OneSync
- Download Hexoskin OneSync, our new data synchronization desktop software for MacOS or Windows
- If your work environment does not allow you to install Hexoskin OneSync on your PC running Windows 10 or higher, please contact our Support Team.
About Hexoskin OneSync
Hexoskin OneSync allows to synchronize the data collected with the Hexoskin and Astroskin Smart Clothing with the Hexoskin & Astroskin platforms for reporting and analysis.
Download & Install Hexoskin OneSync
- Click on Hexoskin OneSync for MacOs or Hexoskin OneSync for Windows to access the stores and start downloading and installing the software on your computer.
- For Mac users: launch Hexoskin OneSync and continue below to follow the Device Assignation instructions to a user.
- For Windows users, an extra step is required to install the Drivers for Windows* (see instructions below).
*For Windows users, an extra step is required to install drivers the Drivers for Windows and ensure that your equipment performs correctly with Hexoskin OneSync.
Download the Drivers for Windows
- Close Hexoskin OneSync
- Download the drivers
- Extract the files to the Desktop
- Once extracted, open the folder.
- Right-click on the Hexoskin INF file (Setup information) and Install
- The drivers have now been installed.
It is always good practice to Reboot your PC after installing new drivers. Once you've completed these steps, you can resume using your Astroskin as intended.
Device Assignation Using OneSync Software
To ensure secure access to your data and personalize your experience, it is important to assign your Astroskin Device to a user account. By doing so, only your account can access the data collected by the device. Additionally, your records will be saved and processed using your account's profile information, such as height, weight, and age.
Launch Hexoskin OneSync and Log In
To get started with Hexoskin OneSync, you need to plug your the Astroskin USB cable into your computer first, and then plug in your Astroskin Device (the order is important). You will need to launch the software and log in to your account. This will allow you to access and synchronize the data collected from your Astroskin device.
- Plug the USB cable into your computer first, and then plug in your Astroskin Device (remember, the order is important).
- Launch Hexoskin OneSync
- Log in to the Hexoskin OneSync for Astroskin software using your username and password.
Assign Astroskin Device to a User
- Select your Device from the left column (see picture below)
- Click on the Assign icon
- Choose your username from the list.
Once assigned, your Astroskin Device will be linked to your account, and your username will appear under your Device on the left side of the software.
If you are sharing the Astroskin Device with multiple people, you can log out and log into OneSync with a new user account to reassign the Device. The new user will become the owner of all new records, while the previous user's data will remain separate on the device and can be synced or retrieved by logging into OneSync with their account credentials.
