# Can I travel by plane with my Astroskin shirt and headband?

## Traveling with your Astroskin shirt and headband: remove the Astroskin at airport security and check your airline's rules for alkaline batteries in checked baggage.

We recommend removing the Astroskin and placing it in a bin before passing through the metal detector at airport security (just like a watch, papers, a laptop, and all other items in your pockets).

Additionally, not all airlines allow alkaline batteries (e.g. AAA, AA, C, D, 9-volt, etc.) in [checked baggage](https://www.catsa-acsta.gc.ca/en/what-can-bring/carry-or-checked). Please check with your [airline](https://www.catsa-acsta.gc.ca/en/other-travel-links) for more information. Rules vary from country to country.
