Resetting the Hexoskin Smart with a Factory Reset

It is possible to restore the Hexoskin device to Factory Settings and Unpair, then re-pair the Hexoskin device using Bluetooth pairing steps.

Reset your Hexoskin Device to Factory Settings

To reset your Hexoskin Device to factory settings, follow these steps:

Caution: Clicking "Restore" will erase all data stored on the Hexoskin device. Ensure no data is recorded that hasn’t been synchronized yet.

  1. Connect your Hexoskin Device to your computer with the USB Cable.
  2. Log in to Hexoskin OneSync.
  3. Click on your connected Device (on the left menu).
  4. Click on "Restore".

After restoring, you’ll need to unpair your Hexoskin Device from your phone. Refer to the instructions above to forget your device in the Bluetooth settings.

Unpairing the Hexoskin Device

  1. Go to your phone or tablet's Bluetooth settings
  2. Locate the Hexoskin Recorder from the list (starts with HX followed by a series of 0 and your device serial number).
  3. Press on the "i" beside the "Not Connected" status
  4. Tap "Forget This Device" on the next screen.
Now, you can now start over and pair your Hexoskin device again using the Bluetooth pairing steps (Android / Apple). Ensure only one mobile device (phone or tablet) communicates with your Hexoskin device.
