The Hexoskin Smart Shirts and Hexoskin ProShirts are reliable and provide a high level of accuracy. Take a look at this article for the details and references.
Performance in Dry, Hot, Humid, and Other Conditions
The accuracy and reliability of the data collected by the Hexoskin Smart Shirts and ProShirts depend on factors such as sensor technology, calibration, and data collection conditions.
Designed for precise real-time measurements of metrics like heart rate, these shirts require proper usage and maintenance to optimize performance.
Users can expect high accuracy under ideal conditions, but variations may arise from individual and environmental factors.
Adjustable Belts for Hexoskin Smart Shirts & ProShirts for Improving the Signal Quality
Adjustable belts ensure optimal contact of cardiac sensors with the skin. For the Hexoskin Smart Shirts, we provide one adjustable belt for women and two adjustable belts for men. The Hexoskin ProShirt comes with embedded adjustable belts that can be attached at different lengths to ensure good skin contact with the shirt's dry electrodes. We also recommend using glycerin-based hand cream on dry electrodes for better ECG signal conductance. A pea-sized quantity of cream on each electrode will work for over 8 hours before requiring another application. Hypoallergic creams like Glysomed do not irritate the skin and the shirt can be put in the wash when needed.
Reporting of the Signal Quality
Our ECG and RIP sensors display a signal quality percentage, which is exportable for excluding low-quality segments from analysis.
