Hexoskin’s RIP breathing bands deliver high‑resolution data for breathing rate and minute ventilation, based on short, precise detection cycles.
The RIP (Respiratory Inductance Plethysmography) bands used in Hexoskin shirts measure breathing movements with a resolution of 8 mL and have an event detection latency of just 8 ms for inspiration and expiration.
Breathing Rate and Minute Ventilation values are calculated from the most recent seven respiratory cycles.
