How do I put on and take off the Hexoskin Shirt?
Follow these simple steps to put on, prepare, and take off your Hexoskin Shirt without damaging the sensors or fabric.
Putting your Shirt on
(It’s easier when you’re dry and clean!)
-
Fold up the lower part of your Shirt.
-
Put one arm through the arm opening, then your head through the collar, and finally the other arm through the other opening.
-
Fold the Shirt down over your torso and lower body.
Tip: Removing glasses or hair accessories will make it easier to put the shirt on and take it off.
Tip:
Applying cream to the cardiac sensors
-
Roll up the lower part of the Shirt to expose the abdominal cardiac sensor (bronze patch).
-
Apply a nickel‑sized amount of glycerin‑based cream to the sensor. Do not rub the cream into the fabric.
-
Roll the lower part of the Shirt back down.
-
For the thoracic cardiac sensors, gently stretch the armpit opening on the right side of your Shirt until you can see the sensor.
-
Apply a nickel‑sized amount of cream to the sensor (again, don’t rub into the fabric).
-
Repeat for the other thoracic cardiac sensor.
-
Fasten the elastic belts.
If using water instead of cream, you may need to re‑moisten the sensors every 1–2 hours. Conductive cream typically lasts about 24 hours or until you remove and re‑wear the Shirt. Sweat can replace water during intense physical activity.
Once done, simply connect your Hexoskin Device — you’re ready to go!
Taking your Shirt off
-
Remove the elastic straps and unplug the Hexoskin Device.
-
Gently roll the Shirt up your torso.
-
Cross your arms to grab the rolled‑up section.
-
Carefully pull the Shirt over your head.
