For optimal signal quality, the sensors should be in direct contact with the skin. The shirt will operate well even with some hair in the way; wetting the electrodes or using a conductive cream will also help ensure good signal quality.
If you experience signal quality issues, please make sure to:
- Verify the size of your Hexoskin shirt is in accordance with our sizing charts and your measurements.
- Use the thoracic and abdominal adjustable belts on the front of your Hexoskin shirt to get a better fit.
- Apply a nickel-sized amount of conductive cream (glycerin-based cream) on each electrode of your shirt after you have put on the shirt.
- Wear the Hexoskin shirt directly against your skin without any additional layers such as a shirt or a bra underneath.
- Carefully inspect both the outside and inside of the Hexoskin shirt, with a particular focus on the sensors. Look for any visible signs of damage or wear and tear.
- Validate that you are following the correct care instructions for your Shirt and Device.
